StructureCare offer waterproofing solutions for service decks over occupied premises, utilising a buried elastomeric waterproofing layer in conjunction with a variety of suitable heavy duty surfacing finishes, including sacrificial asphaltic topping and trafficable paving slabs.
StructureCare are at the forefront of providing guaranteed, long-term solutions to these often problematic areas. Combining our rapid curing, highly elastomeric, spray applied membrane to the underlying, exposed concrete structure, guaranteed waterproof protection is provided immediately.
StructureCare can then reinstate a heavy duty surfacing, taking the form of either a SMA, HRA or Grouted Macadam, depending on the particular demands of the location. These wearing courses provide extremely durable, trafficable surfaces, (that can greatly reduce the effect of surface deformation caused by large service vehicles).
Burying the waterproofing layer also offers superior protection in these high wear areas which are subject to significant weight and shear forces from HGV's, tail lifts, compactors etc.
In addition, StructureCare offer a versatile range of movement joints suitable for suspended service decks, developed to accommodate trafficking from HGV’s.
