Tunbridge Wells Open Day Proves Huge Success

USL StructureCare's recent open day and CPD seminar in Tunbridge Wells proved to be a great success despite the wet weather on the day. A wide range of attendees from retail, local authority, property management and structural engineering sectors, listened to USL's Tim Whittaker and Stripe Consultants Russell Simmons talking about concrete deterioration, corrosion management systems and Life Care Plans for car parks.

The mid-morning CPD presentation was held at the architecturally stunning Hotel Du Vin, a short walk from the multi-storey car park currently being refurbished by USL StructureCare. Following the seminar, delegates were taken for a tour of the 1069 space car park where they were able to witness the installation of the UK's leading car park coating system, DeckProtect+ as well as a demonstration of sacrificial anodes being placed around concrete repairs to prevent the onset of incipient anode reactions.　

Feedback from the event has been fantastic with one delegate commenting "I have attended many similar events in terms of technical seminars and presentations, but to be given a live site tour afterwards, including watching coatings being applied and concrete repairs carried out was really useful and informative".
