StructureCare Shortlisted For LRWA Award
StructureCare are extremely pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted for the LRWA Awards 2022 in the Liquid Waterproofing Project of the Year category, for our work on the Chase Farm Refurbishment project.
The LRWA represents the liquid roofing and waterproofing sector within the Construction industry, and they have held an award ceremony and gala dinner every year since 2017. The award ceremony has grown massively in size and success, which coincides with the speed of growth of the sector. More than 300 people, including contractors, manufacturers and suppliers, attend the events. The aim of the awards is to recognise the quality and professionalism, as well as the fine workmanship and dedication, of all the companies involved in one of the fastest growing sectors of the UK roofing and construction industries.
A panel of independent judges, which includes specifiers and technical experts, follow a stringent scoring process and select a shortlist of around 5 nominees per category, all based on strict and specific factors such as project complexity, standard of workmanship, evidence of problem-solving and aesthetics. They have shortlisted StructureCare along with four other nominees for the Liquid Waterproofing Project of the Year award, for our work on Chase Farm.
StructureCare’s Chase Farm Hospital Refurbishment Project took place in July 2020 and was the refurbishment of the multi-storey car park at Chase Farm Hospital MSCP in Enfield, London. It took 32 weeks in total to complete and included the use of the DeckProtect+ range of deck coating systems, and the installation of Transflex movement joints. The project was awarded The Special Projects award at the 2021 British Parking Awards.
Commenting on the shortlist, our Technical Sales Manager Ryan Williams said: “To be named as a finalist in the Liquid Waterproofing Project of the Year category is an honour and I am delighted that our teams hard work has been recognised. The calibre of projects shortlisted is extremely high and we’d like to wish all the other nominees the best of luck".
